Steven had his surgery today to remove the cyst in his ear. He was happy before the surgery, with his friends Brucey and Bill (see their name tags and hats!) Everything went well. The cyst was attached to his ear drum, so the surgeon removed some skin from behind his ear to repair the eardrum.
After surgery, Steven was a bear. Angry and upset. He just wanted to go home and get the cover off his ear. It was a mean side of Steven we didn't like. He rode out to the car in a wheel chair, then slept all the way home. He watched part of a movie (Alvin and the Chipmunks), then fell asleep for 2+ hours. Once he woke up, he was the old Steven again that we know and love! Thanks for coming Mom, but sadly, Steven doesn't even remember. He doesn't even remember riding in the wheelchair! Poor baby.
