USS New Jersey

The boys went to sleep on the USS New Jersey this past weekend as part of a Cub Scout event. Each year Tim plans the sleepover and this is the favorite, so they have been doing it every 2-3 years. This is Andrew's 3rd time and Steven's 2nd. They love it!
Here are the racks (aka beds) they slept on. This is why I do not go. The tour would be fun, but there is no way in hell I could sleep in that shoebox for 3.

Here's Steven smiling before bed. Gives me the willies looking at him. Oh, it was hot too...no air flow. Lovely.

Andrew does not have on a matching Pack 100 shirt (which Tim designed), as he is no longer in the Pack. He is a Boy Scout (sniff, sniff). He is along on the trip as a big brother. Steven took this great picture!
Kendyl and I had a great girls night. After her nap we went to the playground, then to the outlets and we both got some new clothes. Then we stopped over to see Mom and Pete for awhile and stayed for dinner. It was late, but Kendyl was good. She fell asleep before we even left the driveway! In the morning we went to another park for a long walk and more playground time. Fun, fun!
